Everything you do and eat affects your body and therefore your quality of life. Everything you do and eat is building the body you live in (the body you have to live in your entire life). Intense, right?

For some, this realization can be exciting! Hard work and dedication today can pay off for many tomorrows to come. For some, this realization can be a hard pill to swallow (no pun intended).

But here’s the secret: you have total control over building your body.

Stop. Take a deep breath and read that secret again: you have total control over building your body.

Yes, there will be obstacles and enablers and temptations and bad days/weeks/months that get in the way of the body you want to build. But there will also be assistance and supporters and prevention and great days/weeks/months.

The goal is to have the latter outnumber the former. At first, maybe by one. Then perhaps by 5 or 10. Eventually, a complete imbalance of good to bad. Sometimes it only takes one day, one workout, or one decision to get that ball rolling.

So, let’s start. Let’s make that first decision (well, let’s say 2nd because your first good decision was coming to this site!).

What’s it going to be? Start browsing if you need an idea, but don’t overthink it. Once you find something worthwhile, be like Nike and Just Do It! Put down the phone and start moving or cooking or whatever it is that helps you build the body you feel proud to live in.
